High Definition
Volumetric Imaging
High-Definition Volumetric Imaging (HDVI) is an advanced diagnostic imaging technology designed for 3D imaging in companion animals, offering competitive image quality compared to conventional computed tomography (CT) scanners and similar to the cone beam ct technology.
Key advantages of our new system include significantly lower radiation dose compared to traditional CT scanners-a particularly important benefit for small animals and for cases requiring repeat examinations-as well as high-resolution imaging and exceptional accuracy, especially for musculoskeletal structures such as dental elements, cranial bones, and joints.
Regarding soft tissue imaging, it offers excellent clarity and contrast resolution, which in certain cases renders the image quality comparable to that of a multi-slice CT scanner.
At our clinic, we are equipped with both HDVI and conventional CT technologies, allowing for the selection of the most suitable and targeted diagnostic approach for each individual case. This ensures the highest standards of precision, safety, and effectiveness in imaging care of companion animals.
