Cardiology
Alphavet in collaboration with Dr Federica Marchessoti ,Veterinary DVM,Dip ECVIM-CA (Cardiology)is launching a specialized cardiology department.
The cardiology examination includes taking a complete medical record of the patient , X-ray examination of the chest cavity, Cardio vascular CT imaging , ultrasound of the heart, electrocardiogram or Holter.
Our specialized cardiologist, on the days she is away from the clinic’s fassility, evaluates the above examinations remotely and, in collaboration with the referring veterinarian, adjusts the treatment protocol and the patient’s follow-up plan.

Federica Marchesotti
Federica graduated from the veterinary school of the University of Milan in 2010. She began her training in cardiology at the Clinica Veterinaria Gran Sasso (Milan, Italy).
In 2014 started and finished the ECVIM-CA (Cardiology) residency program at Anicura Istituto Veterinario of Novara, under supervision of Dr Oriol Domenech (Dipl. ECVIM-CA) and in 2021 she obtained her diploma in cardiology ECVIM-CA She is author and co-author of papers published on peer-reviewed international and national scientific journals.
